Job Description

Floating Custodian - 3rd Shift

Full-time position, 40 hours/week

Schedule: 12 months, Sunday- Thursday 9:00pm-5:30am

Beginning hourly rate: $16.83, subject to experience

Non-exempt

Summary: Keep the district's school buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

Cleans and preserves designated spaces, equipment etc. in the building.

Restocks disposable items and provides lead custodian with inventory usage and data.

Assists visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within building and in obtaining and setting up need equipment

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to: minor PM maintenance tasks (light bulb & ballast replacement, other minor repairs) of school buildings. There will be regular custodial tasks of cleaning, scrubbing, buffing and waxing.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Prior Custodial experience preferred but not required
