The Riegelsville Inn is an upscale-casual restaurant overlooking the Delaware river in Riegelsville, PA. We are fast-paced, challenging, and professional. Our mission is to provide new, innovative, and unique menu offerings to our diverse clientele.

The Riegelsville Inn is now accepting resumes for an experienced Line Cook. We are looking for an experienced, creative candidate who can "hit the ground running" in our busy scratch kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist with menu planning and development
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets food safety guidelines
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow proper food handling procedures
Assist with meal preparation for catering events
Expectations:

Knowledge of various cooking techniques and knife skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to bend, stand for long periods of time, and lift heavy objects
Punctual and reliable
Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years experience in a scratch cooking, casual-fine dining, fast paced commercial kitchen.
Open availability including days, evenings, weekends, and most holidays (we are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.)
ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate preferred, but not required.
Authorized to work in the United States

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 49 per week
