About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced cook to join our team at Liquor Shack and Grinds. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, and passionate about preparing tasty food. Youll be responsible for preparing and cooking meals, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, and helping to keep things running smoothly during busy shifts.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Comfortable with physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred:
Valid Hawaii Food Handler's Card
Experience in quick service or local-style food prep

Responsibilities WILL include but NOT limited to:
Ingredient preparation: Washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients accurately
Cooking dishes: Preparing meals using various cooking techniques and equipment
Food safety: Keeping kitchen clean and organized, following all sanitation rules
Quality control: Tasting, adjusting seasoning, and checking presentation and portion sizes
Inventory: Tracking stock, minimizing waste, and assisting with supply orders
Kitchen upkeep: Cleaning equipment, utensils, and workstations
Teamwork: Collaborating with other kitchen staff and front-of-house for smooth operations

Pay:
$17.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience (depending on experience and skill level)

Quick service & fast food restaurant

Shift/Schedule:
8 or 10-hour shifts available
Full-time and part-time positions available

Weekly day range:
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:
Makawao, HI 96768: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
