Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Maintenance Worker at The Cypress Creek Juvenile Correction Center in Lecanto, FL

Cypress Creek is a residential commitment program located in Citrus County Florida. It serves high-risk and max-risk youth ages 15 to 21. The goal of the program is to provide services utilize evident-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment and supervision.

Pay: $19.00 per Hour

Performance Based Compensation reviews are conducted annually (2%,4%, or 6%)

  • Eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance (at 60 days for Hourly employees and 90 days for Salaried)
  • Choice of Supplemental benefits, including Short Term Disability and increased Life Insurance.
  • Eligible for 100% 401k match of up to 6% of your salary after 1 year of employment.
  • Paid Time Off that can be used as soon as it accrues.

To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma. Prior building maintenance experience preferred (general building maintenance, minor electrical, painting, door handwear, minor plumbing, drains, etc.) Must possess a valid state driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record for the past (3) years. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test. Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence. Must have excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to work at least 40 hours per week and designated schedule with the possibility of a varied schedule and overtime.
