SUMMARY
The Restaurant Supervisor ("Supervisor/a de Restaurante") assists the Food & Beverage Management in supervising all Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring team members deliver exceptional guest service and a consistently high-quality, value-driven product. The Supervisor helps oversee daily operations, supports training and development, reinforces service standards, and ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both guests and employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assists Food & Beverage Management in supervising and coordinating daily operations across all Food & Beverage outlets.
- Organizes and oversees the operation of all Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring consistency in food and beverage quality, service, ambiance, and overall guest experience.
- Trains staff in both group settings and one-on-one coaching to reinforce service standards, safety practices, and product knowledge.
- Coordinates and supervises all service staff during meal periods across assigned Food & Beverage outlets.
- Ensures cleanliness and sanitation standards are met in all F&B areas, in accordance with Health Department and hotel standards.
- Maintains a house bank and follows established cash-handling procedures to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Supports the onboarding, training, and continued development of Food & Beverage team associates.
- Responds promptly and professionally to guest concerns or service issues and ensures appropriate resolution.
- Collaborates with kitchen, stewarding, and other support teams to ensure smooth and cohesive service.
- Handles day to day administrative responsibilities and communicate updates to the department manager as needed.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training.
- A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement.
- Previous similar position in a restaurant or hotel is preferred.
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
- Proficient with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Must be able to attain a valid San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire. Evans Hotels will provide this training and is to be completed at the companys expense.
- RBS Certification required.
- Must have an unexpired and valid driver's license with no recent violations.
- Ability to be poised under pressure with continued smiles, and maintain a highly diplomatic attitude with challenging guests and under stressful circumstances.
- Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
- The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.
