POSITION REPORTS TO: Director of Operations/Superintendent POSITIONS SUPERVISED: None BLS COMPARABLE: 37-3011, Landscaping and Grounds Keeping Workers LEADERSHIP: Provides co-worker leadership to others through motivation, team building, and providing feedback. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Subject to post offer, pre-employment drug screen.

- Operate various tools to include shovel, rake, pruners, and aerifier.
- Operate sod-cutter for cutting out and laying sod.
- Dig, plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, and shrubs, and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools.
- Stake, prune, or remove trees using accepted methods.
- Spread general fertilizers onto grass using spreaders while under supervision and direction of superintendent.
- Follow planned landscaping designs to lay sod, sow seed, plant flowers and foliage, and lay decorative stone.
- Perform course setup including setting cups, moving tee markers, and raking bunkers.
- Gather and remove litter, limbs and other debris.
- Hand water dry-spots on greens and unroll and roll 1 diameter hoses.
- Inspect equipment daily; grease and fuel as needed. Report damage and malfunction.
- Wash and put away all equipment upon completion of task or work shift.
- Top-dress tees and greens with sand, backfill and level areas with dirt.
- Perform basic landscaping including planting and pruning of ornamentals and laying borders and edging.
- Build forms, pour, and finish concrete.
- Build and repair fencing.
- Paint and stain buildings, fences, and course accessories.
- Wear proper PPE and comply with and follow all safety policies when performing tasks.
- Provide assistance and support to other departments as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
- City golf facilities are well maintained and provide quality of life to residents.
- Policies and procedures in City of Enid personnel manual and safety manual are understood, followed, and modeled for other employees.
- Effective relations exist with co-workers as well as with the public.
- The Citys professional reputation is maintained.
