Summary: Based in Haltom City, TX, the Customer Service Representative (CSR), under general supervision, is responsible for managing proactive and responsive communication with customers, coordinating order status and delivery updates, supporting quoting efforts, and ensuring business growth with the existing customer base. This position serves as a key interface between the customer, operations, and sales teams.
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to, the following.
- Conduct regular weekly touchpoints with customers to ensure proactive communication, build rapport, and address ongoing needs.
- Support sales initiatives by collaborating with the sales team on customer needs, order coordination, and the resolution of service concerns.
- Provide timely responses to customer inquiries regarding job status, delivery timelines, and other service-related requests.
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding delays, changes, and delivery updates to maintain transparency and service confidence.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of customer quotes by gathering relevant job details and ensuring pricing accuracy.
- Work closely with internal teams to track and follow up on open quotes, ensuring a timely response to customers.
- Electronically file completed job packets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform backup job pricing and provide general support to the quoting process as required.
- Promotes and practices safety and good housekeeping.
- Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
- May have access to proprietary and third-party information necessary to the business, and as such will perform duties ethically and professionally.
- This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customers' inventory and, as such, will perform duties safely and responsibly to prevent customer loss or damage.
- Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.

- This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; therefore, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident cardholders.
- Education - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service, sales, or order management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings/blueprints and calculate basic measurements (dimensions, weights, volumes, etc.) as they relate to quoting or processing requirements.
- General understanding of basic math, including decimals, fractions, and unit conversions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications, including Microsoft Office and databases, are required.

- Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk or workstation.
- Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
