Atrium Hospitality is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join the executive team at the St. Charles Embassy Suites, a 296-room property with 16,000 square feet of total event space. In this key leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring smooth functionality and providing exceptional experiences for our guests. Salary Range: $70,000- $80,000 Bonus Eligible
What You Will Do: Lead, train, and mentor an engineering team that keeps safety, service, and standards at the core. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systemsbasically, be the hotels MVP when things go sideways. Strategically plan and execute the capital and engineering budgetsyes, youll get your hands dirty and crunch the numbers. Manage inventory and scheduling to ensure productivity. Champion our loss prevention and safety programsbecause protecting people and property is priority one. Partner with leadership to support renovations and preventive maintenance projects that elevate guest experience.
What We Are Looking For: 5+ years in engineering: Youve seen it allleaks, locks, and line voltageand know how to fix it fast. Proven leadership skills: You can coach a team with confidence and hold folks accountable with heart. Budget & P&L experience: You know the numbers behind R&M and laborand why they matter. Knowledge of safety codes. Tech-savvy mindset: From CMMS to Workday, you dont shy away from screens and systems. Flexible availability: Nights, weekends, or holidaysyoure ready when duty calls.
