We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be hand crafting all beverages for dine in and take out. Prior experience as a Barista in a high-volume coffee shop environment is a plus. You will also be a point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued while providing exceptional service throughout their dining experience. You will also assist with food preparation and maintain a clean and organized environment, contributing to the overall success of our cafe.

Duties

• Greet guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Dial in our Espresso machine daily to our specifications.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments using Toast POS system.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including coffee selections and daily specials.
• Adhere to food safety standards.
• Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant including barista station, dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks during busy periods.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy
• End of shift responsibilities such as cleaning the barista station

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service efficiently.
• Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Compensation: Hourly ($12.00 - $15.00) plus tips
