Job SummaryAs the first and last point of contact for our guests, the Host/Hostess plays a key role in setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. You will greet guests warmly, manage reservations and waitlists, and ensure smooth seating operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesGreet guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival and departure.
Manage the reservation system (OpenTable), phone calls, and guest seating.
Maintain accurate waitlists and communicate estimated wait times effectively.
Coordinate table turns efficiently with servers and managers.
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the host stand and entrance area.
Accommodate guest requests and handle special seating needs when possible.
Provide menus, answer initial questions, and direct guests to their tables.
Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and floor staff regarding guest flow.
Support the overall team in creating a seamless and welcoming guest experience.
One yea of experience in a host/hostess or customer service role preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong sense of hospitality.
Ability to remain composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with reservation systems (preferred but not required).
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
