Job Description:

The Budd Group is seeking a dedicated and reliable General Cleaner for a weekend position at our industrial facility in High Point, NC. This site operates 24/7, 365 days a year, and the cleanliness and safety of our environment are paramount. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a high standard of sanitation.

This is a stable, year-round position perfect for an individual seeking consistent weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in designated areas of the facility, including production floors, offices, breakrooms, and restrooms.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Gather and empty trash and recycling receptacles.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including refilling soap, paper towels, and other supplies.
Wipe down and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as door handles, railings, and tables.
Maintain the cleanliness of employee break areas.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Notify management of any repairs needed or safety hazards observed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Must be available to work the required shift: Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must be able to pass a comprehensive lifetime criminal background check.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 35 lbs on a consistent basis.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the full duration of the shift.
Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred, especially in an industrial or commercial setting.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
