Salary: $15.66/hr.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
- Performs moderately complex custodial work at Bivins Pointe and other specific assigned areas
- Work involves cleaning and caring for the building and premises, maintaining custodial equipment, requesting supplies and participating in performing minor equipment repairs and installation
- Works under limited supervision with some latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
- Knowledge and experience in all department custodial operations
- Coordinates with the Support Services Director in the cleaning and custodial maintenance of other areas and buildings when the need arises
- Requisitions supply as needed, coordinates with available staff to cover custodial work caused by staff shortage
- Attends training as required by Human Resource Development and/or custodial manager
- Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised
Required qualifications to be successful in the job:
- High school diploma or GED
- One semester (12 credit hours) of accredited college work; or minimum of eighth grade reading comprehension level as evidenced by score on the Adult Basic Learning Examination (ABLE) test
- One (1) year of janitorial or general cleaning work in an industrial environment
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in a satisfactory manner

- Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
- Must be 18 years or age or older
