Job Description
Event Coordinator 1429017
- Hourly pay: $25/hr
- Worksite: Leading university (Redwood, CA 94063 - Hybrid, Must be onsite 3 or more days a week)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment
A leading technology company seeks an Events Coordinator to support and manage event parking logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience coordinating with diverse internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Event Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Coordinate parking logistics with the Operations team and the Department of Public Safety
- Manage the event parking calendar, inventory system, and website updates
- Process event parking requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Build and maintain relationships with event coordinators, vendors, and internal/external partners
- Generate invoices and process payments for event parking
- Answer phone calls and email inquiries related to the event parking program
- Provide general administrative support to the department
- Organize and maintain event parking signage
- Gather and report metrics related to event parking activity
- Drive to the main campus as needed to assist with event logistics using a department vehicle
- Ensure smooth communication and resolution of issues related to event parking
- Support event execution by collaborating with various campus departments and stakeholders
Event Coordinator Qualifications:
- 4 years of administrative experience
- High school diploma and experience
- Associate degree and two years of relevant experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Strong administrative and organizational skills; highly detail-oriented
- Proficient computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proven ability to multitask and function effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with frequent interruptions
- Willingness to adjust work schedule and work overtime during peak periods, as needed
- Valid California non-commercial Class C driver's license required
