Day Shift Maintenance Worker

Morris Community High School has an immediate opening for a Day Shift Maintenance Worker. This full-time (12-month) position has an anticipated pay range of $23.00 to $27.00 per hour, based on the candidate's experience. Duties include all types of building maintenance, plumbing, heating/ventilating systems, preventative maintenance programs, maintenance of grounds, and other duties as assigned. Additional training will be provided for the employee to become certified for special requirements. In addition to base pay, there are expectations and opportunities for overtime work. Each employee receives $14,100 toward health insurance, with at least single coverage required and any balance paid as salary. Maintenance workers participate in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF). Full-time employees also receive fifteen sick days and two personal days per year, with vacation time earned after one year.
