JOB TITLE: Cleaner
REPORTS TO: Cleaning Foreman
Essential Job Requirements: Ability to diagnose problems with vac equipment. Must be able to correctly 'blow down' tanks; must be able to use 3 inch vacuum hose and hook up vacuum lines correctly and efficiently. Often required to walk on staging in dim, dusty conditions. Must be able to use 100-PSI air line in a safe manner so as to avoid injury to self and/or others. All of the above must be done while wearing a dust mask and/or respirator to avoid injury. May be required to perform additional duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor for the completion of the job in a safe and timely manner.
Required Education: None
Required Experience: One year related experience required.
Required Skills: Must be able to work cooperatively with other employees and shipyard personnel. Must be able to take direction from supervisors or more experienced workers.
