Adecco is hiring immediately for a Production Custodian in New Castle, Delaware. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, andanized production environment. Your work will directly support smooth operations by ensuring cleanliness standards are met around presses, packaging areas, and material storage zones.
Responsibilities:
Clean pressrooms, bindery areas, loading docks, and production workspaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors using industrial cleaning equipment.
Remove paper waste, ink residue, and debris from equipment and floors.
Empty trash and recycling bins; dispose of hazardous waste per plant protocols.
Replenish sanitation and cleaning supplies in production areas.
Assist with cleaning during and after press runs.
Operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers.
maintenance needs or safety hazards to supervisors.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Support special cleaning projects during plant shutdowns.
Perform other custodial or light maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous custodial or industrial cleaning experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Comfortable working around machinery, ink, and paper products.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and time management.
Commitment to safety and cleanliness.
Working Conditions:
Active production environment with exposure to noise, ink, paper dust, and machinery.
May require evening, weekend, or holiday shifts depending on production needs.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
