- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems
- Handle general repairs including lighting, doors, drywall, painting, and furniture
- Carry out janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing restrooms and common areas
- Respond promptly to maintenance and custodial service requests
- Operate tools and equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and power tools
- Monitor and restock cleaning and maintenance supplies
- Maintain a clean and safe environment inside and outside the facility (including snow/ice removal, if applicable)
- Support event setups and furniture arrangements as needed
- Ensure compliance with all safety and building code standards
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used
- 2+ years of facilities maintenance and/or janitorial experience
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and understand safety guidelines, work orders, and technical manuals
- Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
- English and Spanish highly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be dependable, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, including basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair minor facility issues such as lighting, doors, furniture, and basic equipment malfunctions
- Inspect and maintain restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality
- Handle janitorial tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying trash and recycling bins
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces to meet hygiene standards
- Perform light carpentry, painting, and drywall patching as part of facility upkeep
- Monitor and restock janitorial and maintenance supplies; notify supervisor when inventory is low
- Set up and tear down furniture or equipment for meetings, events, and other facility needs
- Ensure outdoor areas (entrances, walkways, parking lots) are clean and free of hazards
- Operate cleaning and maintenance equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers
- Maintain records of work performed, repairs made, and cleaning schedules
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and custodial needs from staff and building occupants
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with OSHA and facility guidelines
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, salting walkways, and changing HVAC filters
