Currently seeking full-time housekeeping & laundry tech for day shift in Polk City, Iowa. This position provides a full range of services to ensure a clean and safe environment for our persons served to heal and rehabilitate in.
Position Highlights:
- Hours: Flexible start/end times (Start: 6:30a-8a; End: 3:30p-4:00p)
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) *rotating weekends & holidays required*
- Location: Polk City, Iowa
Responsibilities of the Housekeeping & Laundry Tech position:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment by cleaning and disinfecting common areas, activity spaces, offices, and restrooms.
- Perform routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restocking supplies.
- Handle laundry duties, including collecting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and clothing.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and cleanliness protocols.
- Collaborate with team members, assist at other locations as needed, and participation in rotating weekend and holiday schedules.
- Support the organization's mission by contributing to a healing and supportive environment for individuals.
