Janitor - Part Time

Our client, a dynamic organization in the cleaning services industry, is seeking a Janitor - Part Time to join their team. As a Janitor, you will be part of the facilities maintenance team supporting a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow instructions which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Janitor - Part Time

Location: Knightdale, NC

Pay Range: $15/hr

Shift: 1pm - 5pm (flexibility to work earlier when needed)

What's the Job?

• Responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of the office area, restrooms, and common areas such as the breakroom and entrance/exit areas.
• Follow a basic cleaning schedule with little to no oversight.
• Take basic instructions from the supervisor on cleaning tasks.
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming floors, and wiping down tables, sinks, desks, and other surfaces.
• Clean restrooms, replenish paper towels and soap dispensers, and clean sinks and mirrors.

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; a willingness to learn is essential.
• Ability to read cleaning supply labeling for recommended use of chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
• Ability to report broken equipment and order supplies through the supervisor.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing cleaning needs as directed.
