Job Description

Reports to: Director of Maintenance

Work year: 12 months

Job Responsibilities:

Completes general grass cutting and trimming on school district grounds.

Works as the district's painter during inclement weather, winter or at designated times as assigned by the maintenance director.

Prunes trees, shrubs and other growth to improve the appearance of the campuses.

Assists in the cleaning and maintenance of all boilers and forced air units in the district's buildings.

Assists with general maintenance duties as time permits.

Reports regularly and punctually to assigned work location and notifies supervisor or designee of impending absence in a timely manner.

Performs any other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Demonstrated knowledge in the basic techniques of maintenance, painting and general grounds-keeping.

2. A minimum of one year's experience in general maintenance operations or a related area.
