This position will handle a variety of manual work involved in housekeeping; Position/Individual will require some knowledge in their work assignments. Work is performed with only general supervision in repetitive and routine assignments and may be closely supervised when assisting higher-level tradesman in performing more complex work. Position may be requested to work varied hours to help cover daily activities as well as evening events to include but not limited to concerts and meetings.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- The position will assist with dusting, sweeping, waxing and vacuuming all floors.
- General cleaning of offices and buildings.
- Maintaining and cleaning all appliances and washing of windows and blinds on site.
- Daily cleaning of eight restrooms including tile floors, commodes, partitions, sinks and counter tops and restrooms and dressing rooms in the Pavillion.
- Replace light bulbs, unstop drains, changes air filters, minor painting, and minor equipment repairs.
- Monitors and maintains site fire extinguishers.
- Position may be asked to pick-up of trash on grounds, routine trash removal, weeding, planting, pruning, sweeping of walks and decks.
- May be asked to assist with setting up and taking down of tables and chairs for meetings, art shows, and special inside and outdoor events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position/Physical Requirements:
- Must be available to work Tuesday Saturday 6:30am 3:00pm with some holidays and evenings
- Must be able to perform work in inclement weather throughout the course of the year along with working in a climate-controlled area with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must have the ability to follow oral and/or written work assignments with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must have the ability to e xert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must have the ability to perform physically strenuous activities such as moving furniture and operating heavy cleaning equipment.

Management Prefers:
- Knowledge in the proper use and care of equipment and tools needed to perform work assignments.
- Knowledge of established cleaning procedures and techniques.
- Knowledge of minor maintenance of an office and building.
- Knowledge of OSHA-applicable requirements and adherence to maintain compliance in the proper use of tools, scaffolding, etc. needed to perform daily assigned tasks.

Veterans and National Guard Preference
