Shift Time: Night Shift
DescriptionAs directed and in partnership with department, division and nursing unit leadership, the Lead Environmental Services Technician will performs duties such as: assists manager, coordinates staff work activities, monitors and inspects work of staff, monitors attendance, time clock use, and addresses disciplinary problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists manager in training staff on cleaning procedures, cleaning solutions and products, floor care, project work, and equipment preparation and developing staff for advancement. May train and/or direct the work of Environmental Service Techs.
- Performs general cleaning, uses appropriate cleaning aids and pays close attention to detail cleaning. May operate light, medium and heavy equipment and organize supply maintenance.
- Secures and controls keys; dispenses and collects keys assigned to staff and reports lost keys or breakages. Locks and unlocks doors. Reports building maintenance issues to manager.
- Follows-up on customer complaints and attempts to resolve issues.
- Performs supervisory duties in the absence of the manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years related work experience.
