Hours: 3 PM - 11:30 PM | Monday, Tuesday, Thursday

About the Role:

The Part Time Janitor at the Marshall Training Center plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all staff, visitors, and trainees. This position ensures that all assigned areas are regularly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to the overall health and safety standards of the facility. The janitor will be responsible for routine cleaning tasks, waste disposal, and minor maintenance duties to support the smooth operation of the center. By upholding high cleanliness standards, the janitor helps create a positive atmosphere that enhances the experience of everyone who uses the facility. Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and ability to follow safety instructions.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during assigned shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a consumer support services environment or similar facility.
• Familiarity with environmentally friendly cleaning products and practices.
• Basic knowledge of minor maintenance and repair tasks.
• Certification in workplace safety or cleaning procedures.
• Strong communication skills to effectively report issues and coordinate with team members.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors and surfaces throughout the training center.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste in accordance with facility guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the facility management promptly.
• Restock cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when inventory is low to ensure uninterrupted cleaning operations.
