Your Role: Facilities Custodian

The Campus Facilities Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across all buildings on the Fountain Electric campus. This includes routine and detailed cleaning of administrative and construction office buildings, the Fountain Auto Tech customer waiting area, all campus restrooms (including those in warehouses and the prefabrication building), and other common areas as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning of administrative offices, construction offices, and shared workspaces.

• Clean and disinfect all restrooms across the campus, including those in warehouses and the prefab building.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Fountain Auto Tech waiting area, including floors, windows, restrooms, and seating areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and/or buff floors depending on surface type and location.
• Dust and wipe down conference tables, office furniture, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces.
• Empty trash cans, replace liners, and dispose of waste in designated receptacles - daily task.
• Refill restroom and breakroom supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) and keep inventory of cleaning supplies
• Assist with special cleaning projects or seasonal tasks (e.g., deep cleaning, pressure washing, etc.).
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while cleaning occupied office areas.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior custodial or janitorial experience required; experience in commercial or industrial settings a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, punctual and detail oriented
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must pass a mandatory drug screen
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is preferred
• Minimum of two professional references
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday
