Essential Functions

• Under general direction, performs and/or monitors lower-level staff in the performance of routine housekeeping duties for the residential homes units and buildings including sweeping mopping dusting emptying trash cans cleans and refills soap dispensers replaces towels and tissues cleans washrooms and showers, dining room and furniture etc.
• Serves as lead worker.
• Performs and or monitors lower-level staff on a regular basis in preparing floors for waxing including stripping of old wax from floors baseboard and corners.
• Provides a safe and sanitary environment for the individuals served.
• Completes work status reports and maintains records.
• Attends staff meetings.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of High School supplemented by one (1) year of experience in the support service functional area to which assigned.

• Requires ability meet all agency vaccine/health-related policies and guidance.
• Requires ability pass a drug screen and pre-employment physical.
• Requires ability utilize office equipment, including personal computers.
• Requires ability acquire and maintain Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate.
• Requires ability attend seminars, conferences, and trainings to stay current on methods, tools, ideologies, or other industry related topics relevant to the job duties.
• Requires ability to travel in the performance of job duties, with overnight stays as appropriate.
• On-call and overtime are a condition of employment, and you may be required to work overtime including scheduled, unscheduled, or last-minute overtime, and may be required to work alternating weekends. This requires the ability to work evenings and weekends.
