The Food & Beverage Server provid es exceptional quality and service to the Onyx Bar & Lounge guests. In this role, you will be tasked with provid ing an expertly served beverage or dining experience; anticipating the guests needs and as an expert on the menu options ; and delivering memorable guest experiences . This role is part of the Onyx Bar and Lounge & Talavera Restaurant reporting into the Onyx Bar Manager & Talavera General Manager.
What you will do:
Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Taking and finalizing food and beverage orders.
- Serving and clearing items.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of service areas.
- Learning and being knowledgeable about menu items, their origins, taste, and preparation methods.
- Operating point-of-sale systems.
- Anticipating guest needs and responding to concerns and requests promptly.
- Working collaboratively with the team, including managers, bartenders, and other service staff.
Requirements
- Previous food and beverage serving experience (hotel/resort experience preferred) 1-3 years.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting or pushing.
- Good attitude and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator.
- Ability to read and write in English proficiently
