Job Summary:

As a Team Member at Tasty Chick'n, you are the heart of our restaurant! You'll embody our core values while preparing delicious food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment. Your goal is to ensure that every guest has a delightful experience that keeps them coming back for more.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver Top-Notch Food Quality:

Prepare menu items according to Tasty Chick'n's standards and procedures
  • Follow specific recipes and portion sizes to maintain consistency in flavor and presentation.
  • Utilize appropriate cooking techniques and equipment to achieve the best results for each menu item.

Adhere to proper holding times and temperatures to guarantee freshness
  • Regularly monitor food items to ensure they remain within safe temperature ranges, using thermometers as necessary.
  • Rotate stock efficiently to minimize waste and ensure that older items are used before newer deliveries.

Package food products in Tasty Chick'n-approved containers and bags
  • Ensure that all food items are packaged securely to prevent spillage and maintain quality during transport.
  • Label food items when necessary, especially for takeout orders, to help customers identify their meals.

Conduct quality checks on finished products
  • Visually inspect prepared items for appearance and freshness before serving or packaging.
  • Taste-test select items to ensure flavor profiles are consistent with Tasty Chick'n's standards.


Provide Exceptional Hospitality:

Always wear the complete and proper uniform.
  • Ensure that uniforms are clean, neat, and represent the brand positively at all times.
  • Adhere to grooming standards to maintain a professional appearance.

Maintain eye contact and engage warmly with customers-your smile makes all the difference!
  • Use friendly and welcoming body language to create a pleasant atmosphere for customers.
  • Personalize interactions by addressing customers by name when possible and remembering repeat guests.

Follow Tasty Chick'n's cash handling and security protocols.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, providing customers with their correct change and receipts.
  • Safeguard cash and sensitive information, reporting any discrepancies or issues to management immediately.

Collaborate effectively with your teammates and welcome coaching from the management team.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions, actively engaging and sharing ideas for improvement.
  • Be open to constructive feedback from supervisors and peers to enhance personal performance.

Communicate positively with customers, colleagues, and managers.
  • Use clear and respectful language in all interactions, ensuring customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Foster an environment of teamwork by encouraging open communication among team members.


Ensure Cleanliness and Sanitation:

Keep food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitary.
  • Regularly sanitize surfaces and equipment according to Tasty Chick'n's cleaning schedules and health regulations.
  • Ensure that all tools and utensils are stored properly after use to prevent contamination.

Follow Tasty Chick'n's guidelines for safe food handling.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including wearing gloves when handling food and washing hands frequently.
  • Understand and implement cross-contamination prevention measures in food preparation.

Maintain cleanliness in the lobby, front counter, drive-thru, kitchen, storage areas, and restrooms throughout your shift.
  • Conduct frequent checks of all areas to ensure they remain tidy and welcoming for customers and staff.
  • Promptly address any spills or messes to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment.

Ensure the parking lot and exterior are litter-free and inviting.
  • Regularly walk the restaurant's exterior to pick up litter and maintain the overall appearance of the location.
  • Ensure that outdoor seating areas are clean and well arranged for customer comfort.

Participate in routine deep cleaning tasks.
  • Assist in scheduled deep cleaning efforts, which may include thorough cleaning of equipment, storage areas, and dining spaces.
  • Help maintain an organized inventory to ensure that all supplies are stored properly and accessible.
