Start your new career as a Carbon Black Cleaner with MAU at Michelin in Sandy Springs, SC. As a Carbon Black Cleaner, you will perform essential cleaning and maintenance of dust boxes and drop points throughout the carbon black circuit to ensure operational safety and efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

• Ability to safely work in industrial environments, including rooftops and tunnels
• Strong attention to safety protocols and detail
• Willingness to work as part of a team (buddy system required on rooftops)
• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and vacuum operation
• Previous experience in industrial or plant cleaning preferred, but not required

What You'll Do as a Carbon Black Cleaner:

• Safely clean dust boxes and drop points located throughout the carbon black circuit
• Use vacuum systems to remove carbon black buildup from dust boxes, belts, and drop points
• Inspect and clear clogs from aspiration lines
• Perform drop point cleaning using vacuum hoses, rubber mallets, and scrapers
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, metal platforms, and tunnels
• Monitor and empty vacuum systems following correct operational procedures
• Notify maintenance or operators of any equipment issues (e.g., clogged lines, unusual machine sounds)
• Follow zone-based cleaning routes from SP roof to transfer tunnels for efficiency
• Comply with buddy system and safety procedures when working on rooftops
