PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER/HOUSEMAN, BERKELEY, CA A household in the Berkeley area is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper/Houseman to support the daily upkeep of their home and property. This role will work in collaboration with the full-time Housekeeper and requires someone proactive, handy, and physically capable of assisting with both indoor and outdoor tasks. Responsibilities Support the full-time Housekeeper with general household upkeep and organization Maintain and tidy outdoor areas (patio, decks, walkways, garage) Assist with moving furniture, lifting boxes, and other physically demanding tasks Comfortable working on ladders when needed for light maintenance or organizing Help with seasonal home projects (power washing, garage cleanouts, etc.) Perform light handyman tasks and liaise with vendors when necessary Ensure household supplies and tools are stocked, maintained, and stored properly Provide general assistance to the family as needed Qualifications Experienced in private households or similar high-standard environments Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors Able to lift, move, and support heavier household tasks Respectful, discreet, and able to work harmoniously in a team Flexible and willing to adapt to the household's evolving needs Location: Berkeley, CA Schedule: 20 hours per week (Part-Time) Salary: $40-$45/hour DOE Employment is contingent upon a clear background check and verification of professional employer references
