Job Summary: Responsible for preparing and maintaining the breakfast area for guests. Duties may include, but are not limited to, setting up food and beverage stations, replenishing buffet items, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards, and providing courteous service to guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Setup and Maintenance: Set up breakfast stations including food, beverages, and utensils before guests arrive. Ensure all necessary items are stocked and replenish them as needed during service hours.
2. Food Handling: Handle and prepare food items following health and safety regulations. Maintain proper food hygiene and temperature controls.
3. Customer Service: Greet guests as they enter the breakfast area, assist with seating if necessary, and provide information about breakfast options. Respond to guest inquiries and accommodate special requests.
4. Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area throughout service hours. Clean tables, chairs, countertops, and equipment. Ensure all areas meet sanitation standards.
5. Organization: Organize and maintain inventory of breakfast items, including food, beverages, and supplies. Notify management when supplies are low and assist with ordering as needed.
6. Teamwork: Coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth breakfast service. Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Capability to bend, stoop, and reach to perform cleaning and stocking tasks.
• Energy to work early morning shifts.

• This position reports to the Food and Beverage Supervisor.
• Training will be provided on specific hotel procedures and standards, as well as Servsafe Certification
