***Weekday Mornings needed with weekend flexibility***

The Receptionist is the main point of contact when members and guests come to the Club. The Receptionist greets members and guests in a personable, friendly, and inviting manner, and guides them to appropriate areas. The Receptionist answers, screens, and forwards phone calls while providing basic information when needed. The Receptionist also takes reservations for various functions and performs other computer-based tasks.

Job Tasks (Duties)

Greets members and guests as they enter the Club and Dining Room areas.

Guides members to appropriate areas of the Club and to designated tables in the dining area.

Addresses all members in a professional manner and by name if possible.

Answers telephone calls promptly and courteously and directs all calls to the appropriate areas.

Provides members with accurate information about Club events and directs any further questions to the appropriate individual or department.

Takes reservations and inputs information into the POS system.

Stays current with the Dining Room Menu offerings.

Takes ownership of member issues and follows problems through to resolution.

Engages in making sincere, friendly, and personal interactions with membership and guests to ensure they are happy with food and service.

Performs clerical duties such as handing out Application Packets, filing, and copying.

Keeps work areas clean, organized and stocked with essentials throughout the shift.

Effectively communicates with all staff to ensure member service is top of the line.

Follows the service mission statement to the fullest.

Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Must have strong client facing and communication skills.

Must be able to pay high attention to detail.

Must be able to perform basic computer skills to include familiarity with Excel programs.

Must have a positive attitude and a willingness to work in a team environment.

Restaurant experience a plus.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

Must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food and drink when necessary.

Occasional bending.

Occasional sitting.

Position Classification and Expected Hours of Work

  • The assigned hours to this position vary each week according to event schedules, but include working on holidays and weekends.
  • Shifts are from 9am-3pm and 3pm-9pm Tuesday - Sunday
