We are currently seeking friendly and enthusiastic Concierge Server to join our team for our 2nd shift (Monday to Friday 4:00pm to 12:00am with rotating weekends/holidays).

Job Summary:

We're seeking a dependable service-oriented team member for a blended role involving concierge duties, dining service, and light cleaning. This second-shift position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, working in a fast-paced environment, and wearing multiple hats. You will play a vital role in ensuring our residents enjoy a positive dining experience in our community dining room. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving meals, and providing outstanding customer service in a warm and welcoming environment. This position is perfect for individuals who have a passion for working with seniors and strive to make a difference in their lives.

Hours: Monday to Friday 4:00pm to 12:00am (with rotating weekends/holidays).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist residents, guests and visitors with a friendly demeanor and a warm smile (received delivery packages).
  • Provide dining room service: serve meals, clear tables, and wash dishes, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Perform light housekeeping: Clean common areas, take out trash, restock supplies, resident laundry.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area before and after meal service.
  • Build positive relationships with residents and encourage social interactions during meals.
  • Respond to phone calls and residents' requests professionally.
  • Communicate any resident concerns to the dining services manager.
  • Working well with others and taking direction from management, as well as taking initiative with the capability to engage in conflict intervention and resolution for residents, families, employees, and others as needed.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Performing other job-related task/duties as assigned by Management staff.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service role or food service (senior living facility, hospitality or similar setting preferred).
  • Ability to lift, push or move up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • A passion for working with seniors and providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Must be friendly, reliable, punctual, and able to handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
