Restaurant Host - Flexible Schedule / Golf Privileges

As the first face our guests see, you'll help set the tone for an enjoyable dining experience by creating a warm, professional, and efficient environment. Whether you're seating guests, managing reservations, or providing information about our seasonal offerings, your attention to detail and friendly demeanor will make a difference.

• Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional welcome.

• Manage the flow of guests using a seating chart and POS system.

• Coordinate reservations and communicate wait times clearly.

• Provide information about the menu, specials, and facility.

• Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with care.

• Support team communication and help train new hosts.

• Follow all safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.

• Perform opening and closing duties for smooth daily operations.

What You'll Need

• Must be 16 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Food Handler Training and certification within 30 days of employment.
• First Aid, CPR, AED certification within six (6) months of employment.
• Previous experience in a casual/upscale casual restaurant setting preferred.
  
• Knowledge of food safety and service procedures and sanitation guidelines.
  
• Proficiency in conflict resolution to address customer concerns effectively.
  
• Must possess a customer service-oriented attitude, dedicated to ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
  
• Preferred experience in high-volume hosting.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and conflict management skills.
  
• Ability to work quickly and with great accuracy and attention to detail.
  
• Collaboration and dedication to team goals.
  
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  
• Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining productive working relationships.
  

This is a seasonal, part-time position with variable hours based on golf season and business needs. Typical shifts run:

• 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

• 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Must be available on weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $15 per hour.
