Valley View is looking for a Barista for our Mountain Brew Coffee Shop!

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and providing exceptional customer service!

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

1. Performs setup, stocking, clerical, cashier, and money management duties of department.
2. Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages consistently according to recipes and customer preferences.
3. Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other cafe equipment.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including workstations, equipment, and customer areas.
5. Greet customers, take orders accurately, and process payments.
6. Restock supplies and ingredients as needed throughout the shift.
7. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
8. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills:

• Must speak English
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous Barista or food service experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas.

Experience:

• Two Years Food service experience preferred
• Barista experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and walking.

SALARY RANGE

• ‎$19.00 - $27.75/hour
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
