Housekeeping Attendant

At EDS Service Solutions are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are welcoming and well-kept. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and effectively.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing surfaces to meet health and safety
  standards.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
  throughout the facility.

Skills

• Proficient in floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
• Knowledge of custodial practices for effective cleaning in various settings such as hotels or hospitals.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods for larger facilities or specialized environments.
• Strong background in hospitality to provide exceptional service to guests and clients.
• Ability to maintain a clean environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of previous experience
• Outstanding verbal communication and conflict resolution abilities.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work a flexible schedule: mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience at an extended stay property or hotel.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally (e.g., luggage, supplies, guest packages).
• Bend, twist, and reach as necessary to perform desk and lobby duties.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $14.50

• Morning and evening shifts available, operating 7 days a week
