Perform maintenance and custodial duties for the Milo Bail Student Center. Ensure all areas remain safe and sanitary for use by all students, faculty and staff. Also, provide basic maintenance assistance for issues that can be resolved on-site.

Note: This role has a rotating weekend shift every 4 weeks during the Fall/Spring Semester. This can be used for overtime or can be offset by taking another day off during that week.

Job Duties

Responsibility Area: Basic Maintenance Duties:

Conduct basic maintenance with-in building, such as, hanging items, repairing walls, painting, carpet tiles, fixing/ troubleshooting equipment issues, and additional building related items that can be resolved on-site.

Assist in event preparation by setting up spaces with tables, chairs, staging, and other event equipment.

Percentage Of Time 20 Essential Function: Yes Responsibility Area: Cleaning Duties:

Vacuum, dust, empty trash and perform other cleaning duties to assigned areas on a daily basis. Floor care: Dust mop, spot mop, shampoo, and auto scrub entry ways, hallways, lounge and event spaces.

Assist in event oversight when events are taking place inside building.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required Education

High School diploma or an ability to read and follow directions.
