Seeking Building Services Member for a dominant performing arts center in Greenville, SC. Built on a six-acre campus with an aesthetic mix of new architecture and historic buildings, the campus is at the hub of Greenville's nationally recognized downtown.

Position Summary

The Building Services Crew Member position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of all Peace Center facilities to be patron-ready under the direction of the Building Services Manager and as part of a Building Services Team.

Essential Job Functions

• Clean all surfaces to standards set by the Building Services department. Tasks include, but are not limited to: vacuuming, glass cleaning, dusting, carpet extraction, damp mopping, restroom cleaning, etc.
• Setup and strike furniture for facility events.
• Maintain interior areas and exterior surfaces in all seasons.
• Complete all assigned tasks within a reasonable time frame as determined by the Building Services Manager.
• Follow the standard operating procedures of the Building Services Department and as well as policies and procedures of The Peace Center.
• Follow all safety guidelines and processes and report any unsafe working conditions immediately to a member of management.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one (1) year of housekeeping/custodial experience in a facility environment.
• Working knowledge of various cleaning equipment and materials.
• Works well independently and in a group setting, a true team player.

Start/end time of shift: Day- 8:00am-2:00pm, Night 2:00pm-10:30pm
