Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, as well as a strong background in culinary arts. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef to create and execute menu items, manage kitchen staff, and ensure the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in creating and preparing menu items
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
  • Manage inventory and ordering of supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field is a plus
