Housekeeper

An elegant high-net-worth client is seeking for a meticulous and diligent Housekeeper to help with the upkeep of their prestigious home located in Brentwood, Los Angeles . This is a full-time, permanent, live-in role for an experienced housekeeper to join an established domestic team and maintain a pristine household environment. The private residence is a 6,100 sq ft classic modern estate, featuring five bedrooms, two en-suite guest rooms, a grand formal foyer, and a refined dining space used for private events and business gatherings. In addition to maintaining the cleanliness of the property, the housekeeper will be delegated tasks pertaining to event preparation, pet care, and must report to the estate manager. The successful candidate will have background experience in luxury household settings, a strong work ethic, and a keen eye for both precision and presentation. This position requires an individual who works well in a structured, and team-based environment and who takes great pride in maintaining a spotless, welcoming home for both daily living and entertaining. Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of all interior spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, formal living and dining areas, family areas, hallways, and laundry room. Clean fine materials and surfaces (marble, hardwood, silver, crystal, etc.) with appropriate products and techniques. Maintain high-touch areas to exacting standards with a focus on cleanliness, organization, and presentation. Assist with table setting, event prep , and cleanup during business-related dinners or gatherings hosted at the residence. Manage laundry , including washing, ironing, folding, steaming, and proper care of delicate or designer garments. Rotate and maintain wardrobe organization and seasonal closet changeovers if needed. Restock household supplies and inform the household manager or principal of inventory needs. Deep-clean areas on a rotating schedule (e.g., baseboards, under furniture, blinds, high shelves). Handle pet-related cleaning tasks with care and hygiene. Assist in maintaining order when the family is awayensuring the home remains guest-ready and secure. Communicate with other staff members for seamless operations. Report issues or repairs to the principal or estate manager promptly. Requirements Minimum 5 years of proven full-time experience as a Housekeeper in luxury private residences or estates. Proven ability to work independently and also collaboratively within a staffed household. Meticulous, discreet, and respectful of privacy and boundaries. Fluency in English preferred; additional language skills a plus but not required. Confident using and identifying appropriate cleaning products for fine surfaces and fabrics. Physically fit and capable of managing stairs and long periods on foot. Comfortable around children and pets. Strong sense of initiative, organization, and attention to detail. Able to follow verbal and written instructions accurately. Positive and adaptable, especially during occasional evening events. Legally authorized to work in the United States.
