DESCRIPTION

St. Joseph School is seeking a part-time food service assistant that enjoys a fast-paced and joy-filled working environment serving our preschool-8th grade school community. The assistant will assist in food preparation, set up, serving, and cleaning as directed by the Food Service Manager for our school food service program. The position is 18-20 hours per week during the school year, Mondays from 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m and Tuesdays-Fridays from 9:30 a.m. -1:00p.m.

QUALIFICATIONS

Active, participating Catholic preferred but not required

Demonstrated ability and willingness to follow and enforce all required safety procedures

Demonstrated appropriate communication/interpersonal skills that create effective working relationships with students, staff, parents and parishioners

ServSafe certified, or certified within 60 days of hire

Satisfy Essential 3 requirements of Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis (complete background check, complete Virtus training and satisfy Code of Conduct)

Satisfy essential requirements of Minnesota Department of Health (MDE) training hours
