Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Line Cooks/Prep Cooks to join our culinary team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, contributing to the preparation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a strong understanding of food safety practices, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.

Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices.

Maintain cleanliness andanization of the kitchen workspace, ensuringpliance with food safety regulations.

Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and knives safely and efficiently.

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Participate in daily prep work and assist with special dietary needs within the dietary department when required.

Uphold high standards of quality control for all food items served.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train passionate individuals eager to learn.

Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.

Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques are advantageous.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Expected hours: 20 to 45 per week

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
