Host/Server (PT) for Elevated Craft Cocktail Bar

Kro Bar is a craft cocktail bar & restaurant that aims to exude the pinnacle of hospitality. We are seeking passionate individuals that are willing to grow and learn to provide top notch service and a unique experiences for our guests.

Proficiencies (ALL POSITIONS):

- Must be able to work efficiently for extended periods of time.

- A genuine care for all guest needs, and attention to detail.

- Ability to ad to COVID-19 Guidelines and continue to provide a safe environment for all Guests and staff members.

- MAST permit and Food Worker Card needed (If position requires serving Food & Beverage).

- Must be over 21 years of age.

Host/Hostess Proficiencies:

- MUST be proficient in OpenTable - You should be able to book/modify reservations, seat tables and make amodations based on visit/guest notes. Added bonus if you are able to assist in identifying guest trends/needs ahead of time so we can make adjustments to the flow of the restaurant.

- Being a warm and weing face of the business. You will be the first and last face that guests will see when visiting this establishment.

- Attention to detail is very important.

- Ability to take initiative andmunicate with staff about seating and flow of restaurant.

- Seats guests in a timely fashion, whilemunicating with FoH staff about arrivals and specific dietary needs and/or special occasions.

- Effective inmunication and empathy, as this will be a very busy location that will be pretty sought after and often fullymitted with reservations.

- Phone answering skills and prompt replies with knowledge about the restaurant and its policies.

Server Proficiencies:

*Should have at least 2 years of craft cocktail or relevant elevated server knowledge. We will be asking initial questions related to spirits, wine and cocktail knowledge. These things are a must to be further considered for the position.*

- Ability to understand the difference between major spirits/classic cocktails.

- Demonstrates consistency in experience overall, and the ability to genuinely care about the guest need and guest experience.

- Experience in utilizing OpenTable to manage, seat, andmunicate with guests effectively.

- Maintainposure under pressure. We are a new location that will be very busy, so keeping cool while performing your assigned duties is a must!

- Strong in efficiency and attention to detail.

- Intermediate/Advanced Wine & Spirits knowledge is preferred for this position.

- Ability to greet and wee guests in a warm and cordial manner.

- Maintaining clean and inviting service stations, and assist with side-work w needed. Be a team player!

- Ability to be lead and take direction. This is a great learning opportunity for those looking to sharpen skills and be an asset to the service industry as it is ever changing.
