The Concierge / Floor Captain
As our Concierge & Floor Leader, you ll be the warm wee and steady presence our guests and team rely on. You re the person who floats between charm and checklist across all departments, ensuring guests feel seen and supported while keeping the floor running smoothly.

Oakwood Public Market is a new gathering place in the heart of Dripping Springs - a vibrant, multi-concept destination that includes a craft coffee shop, pizzeria, retro soda fountain and ice cream counter, full bar, bakery, and specialty grocery. We're inspired by the Hill Country's rich cultural heritage and exist to build amunity rooted in intentional hospitality.

What You'll Do
Serve as hospitality lead and floating manager during designated shifts
Open and close the venue 2 - 3 times per week with full leadership responsibilities
Manage guest flow and service rhythm across all departments diner, cafe, retail, bar, events
Support the host stand and uplift team members
Troubleshoot issues with calm, quick thinking, and professionalism
Communicate wins, needs, and guest feedback clearly to management
Ensure the space feels warm, clean, and weing throughout service
Be fluent in POS (Toast), opening/closing procedures, and retail functions
Tools of the Trade
Familiarity with Toast POS or similar systems
Strongmunication and team leadership skills
High situational awareness and ability to multitask across departments
Bonus if you have retail, events, or grocery experience but not a prerequisite

Able to guide, delegate, and jump in hands-on when needed
