No drama, good tips, small team, new chef looking to build the right team. Must be willing to help out, support others andmunicate well! Keeping a small team requires everyone to do their part and show some hustle, and maintains higher tips for all BOH staff.

Pacific Standard is looking for a line cook. We are looking for someone who is experienced, mature, reliable and hardworking.

Shifts vary slightly between the hours of 2:00pm - Close (expect to be out between 12:00 to 12:30am-ish).

Skills, Traits, and Qualifications:

You areanized and detailed oriented

Solid knife skills

Possess an understanding of cooking, cooking equipment and sanitation practices

Ability to anticipate and proactively address problems that may arise before, during, and after service

Familiar with professional kitchen equipment

Clear and respectfulmunicator

Able to stand for extended periods

Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs

Valid Food Handlers Card

Duties and Responsibilities:

Line prep before and during service

Cooking food as orderse in, ensuring quality and accuracy

Opening line set up and stocking for service

Closing station breakdown (flipping, reanizing, cleaning, etc.)

Assist in stocking and maintaining clean andanized stations and equipment

Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients in regards to both raw product and prepped product

Daily cleaning and breakdown of your station.

This position is full-time up to 40 hours per week, open availability is preferred. Compensation is $19/hr with tips. Located on the corner of MLK & Couch in the Central Eastside of Portland, t are lots of bus lines and max trains nearby.
