* Ensuring ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and readily available for other kitchen staff.
* Keeping the kitchen and prep stations clean, sanitized, and organized.
* Helping with various cooking tasks as needed, including preparing simple dishes or assisting with plating.
* Accurately following prep lists created by cooks and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
* Strong and efficient knife skills are crucial for preparing various ingredients.
* Accuracy and attention to detail are important for proper food preparation and storage.
* Prep cooks often work under pressure and need to be efficient.
* Collaboration with other kitchen staff is essential.
* Understanding and adhering to food safety guidelines is critical.
