Location: Lexington, KY 40503

Position: Custodian

Pay Rate: $19.33/hr

Duration: 13 weeks

Expected Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm (40 hrs/week) Monday-Friday

This will be a 2nd shift position, 3pm to 11:30pm, alternating weekends and holidays. Interviews will take place through Teams but has auto offer potential.

JOB SUMMARY

The EVS/Custodian performs duties while demonstrating working knowledge of the health care cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements, proper and safe chemical use, equipment handling, and labor-saving products for all items within the healthcare environment for which tasked with servicing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

Assumes responsibility for daily occupation and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment as assigned and other common areas of assignment.

Follows all infection prevention practices (i.e. proper cleaning and disinfection protocols and process, hand hygiene, standard & isolation precautions, as well as proper donning and doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Removes waste and transport to the appropriate disposal area while identifying proper waste streams handling (i.e. regulated medical, recycling solid, and hazardous

Performs specialty tasks per facility needs, including, but not limited to, conference room set up/dismantle according to function sheets and schedules, cleaning of stairwells and elevators, and hanging of cubicle curtains.

Other duties as assigned such as performing alternate EVS aid responsibilities as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1+ Years of Recent Custodial Experience

1+ Years of Recent Hospital Custodial/EVS Experience Preferred
