Your contributions ensure that students receive safe, nutritious meals on time while maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming food service environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and distribute student meals in accordance with established menus and nutrition guidelines Serve food and manage cafeteria line flow during peak meal times Receive and stock food deliveries, ensuring inventory is properly rotated and stored Sanitize all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards Support additional kitchen duties and assist team members as directed by the supervisor Minimum Requirements Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety practices Ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions in English Must be able to lift 25 lbs independently and up to 50 lbs with assistance Valid Texas Food Handler Certificate required by start date Tools & Equipment Used Food service equipment : ovens, warmers, coolers, etc. Commercial cleaning products and sanitation procedures Food inventory systems and safe storage practices Preferred Qualifications Recent previous experience in food service Strong teamwork, communication, and service skills Note : By applying for this position, you consent to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone Staffing, its affiliates, and contracted partners.
