Job Title: Bartender New Cocktail Bar in Williamsburg

Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Position Type: Part-Time (24 shifts/week)

About Us:

Were opening a small, design-forward bar and restaurant on a rapidly changing corner of Williamsburg, with a focus on great hospitality, craft cocktails, and seasonal food. Our goal is to bring a fresh perspective to the neighborhood with thoughtful drinks, intentional service, and a space that feels both considered and easy to love. We believe great bars are built by great teams, and were looking for bartenders who want to help shape something from the ground up.

What Were Looking For:

Youre confident behind the bar and great with people. You understand pacing, flow, and the details that elevate a guests experience. Youre equally comfortable making a stirred classic or riffing on a guest request for something a little different. Above all, you take pride in your work, move with purpose, and care deeply about creating a welcoming space for guests and coworkers alike.

Requirements:

• 23+ years behind the bar in a cocktail-focused environment
• Strong command of classic cocktails, technique, and service standards
• Familiarity with spirits and ingredients, how theyre made, and an appetite to keep learning
• Availability for evenings and weekends
• Comfortable lifting 50 lbs, working on your feet, and moving speed, style, and grace
• Positive, collaborative energy and a willingness to take initiative
• TIPS Certification or willingness to obtain shortly after hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Make exceptional cocktails with consistency and care
• Read the room and guide the guest experience with warmth and professionalism
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepped station
• Contribute to a respectful, communicative, team-forward culture
• Support bar setup and breakdown, as well as occasional private events
• Be part of shaping and evolving the bars identity over time

Compensation:

• Hourly (NYC minimum to start) + tips
• Opportunities for creative input and growth as the bar develops
