About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Child Development Center at Seymour Johnson AFB.

The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of manual tasks in food preparation and food service areas .
Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Applicants will be categorized by preference(s) and/or priority consideration eligibilities. An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date , 08/10/2025
Must be able to follow simple oral instructions, use hand tools for cleaning, and operate simple machinery. Must be skilled in doing tasks with several steps and able to use judgement in sequencing tasks. Knowledge of sanitation standards for handling and serving food, food service equipment and work area. Must be physically able to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand and walk, and frequently stoop, reach, push, pull and bend for long periods of time. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate. Successful completion of a National Agency Checks is required. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
