General Purpose

Oversees all front-of-house and back-of-house food and beverage operations with a focus on guest satisfaction, service standards, employee training, financial accountability, inventory control, and event coordination. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires presence on the floor and close collaboration across departments.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations and supervise all F&B staff, including bartenders, servers, support staff, and outlet supervisors.
  • Spend at least 50% of time performing management and supervisory duties on the floor.
  • Maintain strong floor presence during meal service to ensure high service standards and guest engagement.
  • Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and development of F&B team members.
  • Coordinate menu development and pricing with the Head Chef.
  • Assist in recruiting, planning, organizing, and executing all food & beverage aspects of special events, private functions, and golf tournaments.
  • Manage ordering, vendor relationships, and monthly inventory processes.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Work closely with the Golf and Events team to coordinate food service for group functions.
  • Maintain facility standards through regular inspections of cleanliness, functionality, and equipment, including beverage carts.
  • Track labor and food costs, monitor budget performance, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Utilize software systems for inventory, scheduling, and analytics where applicable.
  • Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and policies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; relevant education or certifications preferred.
  • 1+ years of F&B leadership experience (restaurant, hospitality, or club setting).
  • ServSafe and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Must meet legal age requirements for handling alcohol.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and motivate.
  • Solid understanding of wine, spirits, and regional cuisine.
  • High attention to detail, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Positive and professional demeanor with a commitment to customer service.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently stands, walks, talks, and lifts up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Works in both indoor and outdoor settings; occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions.
